Hello! I am a second year undergraduate student on the pre-dental track and I just had a question concerning the DAT. I am bound to complete the courses that are covered on the DAT end of third year which will be around May of 2023. What would you consider to be the ideal time to begin studying for the DAT? Below is what my schedule looks like for the next 2 years. If you believe I should take some courses before others please let me know!

I think as long as you have taken all your classes that the DAT covers, you should be ready for the DAT. Give yourself an extra month to study than you would think you should!
I started studying about 6 months before taking the DAT, but I wasn't the most committed. I began to study full-time (10-12 hours per day) about 8 weeks before taking the exam. I wish I would have given myself a bit more time, but I wound up doing pretty well.
